Thanks for checking these out. I stumbled upon what appeared to be a large area where arrowheads and tools were made. Does anyone know what time period this would be in? Or who made them? Any information would be much appreciated.

Nice collection. Hopefully you weren't on public property (State or Federal) while camping. The Feds don't like it when this nations citizens take what the Feds consider their property.

I think it is a "stretch" to call some of those arrowheads. They look pretty crude to be arrowheads. I have a collection of arrowheads that I have found, and they were much better formed, even those that were not finished. I would take a couple of them to some one who collects them or sells them in your area and ask about them. But as to age, if I am not mistaken, most of the indian artifacts in your area wouldn't be prehistoric as these points might show. Good luck and if they are legit, please post closer up photos of them and what the "experts" say about them.

hi there..not an expert on these but there are a few that look tooled. i lived in fla. for a few years and have have come across this type.. they look to be the leftovers from the making of arrowheads...white chirp. i forget the others?
nice finds .keep looking...

And, if the Feds don't own the property, they will just take it over. THEN, it will be theirs and you can't have any! ;)

HH!

Not trying to be a downer here, but I don't see any arrowheads that I can tell. Keep looking though, they look like they could be pieces left behind during the manufacture of lithic tools.
