Probably, and when you consider the cost of the Deus' control box, using a cell phone instead starts to make a lot of sense.

Deus Xp works on a different principle but this smartphone sends the signals through a wired coil.
I'm interested in their project but I'm looking for something that can go deep into the ground 10+ feet.
