I live in upstate SC. Was just curious about the use of mini excavators and other equipment to prospect or mine? I have equipment and understand the impact on creeks and rivers would not be allow but on private land in old beds and areas like McCormick, it seems the way to go. I have never prospected but have moved my share of dirt. If anyone has the land and understands the legality of what I'm asking, I would like to try in any state close.
