I have an awesome wife! She bought me an Invenio for my birthday. Well, an early birthday gift anyway.

I can't wait to see how it works when we get some warmer weather.

Would you be kind enough to follow up once you’re familiar and give us a tour? Looks interesting.
Yeah, sure will. Hope things thaw out a bit in February so I can get out with it.

There are several videos of it in use on-line; fascinating. Careful not to get text neck looking down at the screen & ground too much.

There was the demonstration of the unit at the Nokta booth many years ago, but really nothing that informative since.
It'll really be interesting when you get some hours behind the unit and make your first recoveries.
Best of luck you spoiled........:laughing7:

A quarter an nail on my garage floor.

The machine is really geared toward hoards and large items, but I've seen some videos of guys finding roman coins in hard hit areas. I'm hoping to find some more large iron inside the schoolhouse.

I see your from PA,,I’m in western PA,, Indiana county. One thing about our state,,you just never know what’s in the ground…Old heritage..You might find a sunken Model T with that thing. Congrats on the new box, I’m gonna be watching your threads,

I'm very interested in knowing how well this works for you. After a few weeks let us know if it's super cool or if this technology is not really going anywhere. Thanks

Just for giggles I played around this afternoon out in my yard scanning targets. Unfortunately, I thought I saved all the data to a flash drive and deleted the files on the control box. I wasn't thinking, the Invenio control box runs a Linux system and requires the flash drive to be formatted FAT32, I used an NTFS formatted drive. Back to the drawing board, I scanned two items on my garage floor, an iron pin and a horseshoe. Below are the analyzed results.

The scan feature seems to work much better when items are in the ground. I had been able to see the shape of most of the items in the earlier set of scans that I deleted thinking they were saved to the drive. I could see some were nails and had a couple that were "Y" shaped. I'll have to get out and scan these targets again. Could be a while, we're expecting rain tomorrow, a snowstorm Sunday, and major cold all week.

The machine seems fairly easy to learn. I've been going through the manual and trying new features. One thing I really like is that the IPTU sensor shows you on the screen where you've moved the coil. You can actually see if you've overlapped and covered all the ground. I've also attached a screenshot of a memorial penny target on screen.

I think I've depleted my yard of targets so when I get to another permission this machine will get a better workout. I used the small INV28 coil today and non-motion mode basic and expert. Next time I get out I'll try the middle size INV40 coil and try the motion modes.
