Update: Mini Coffin Found . . . Desecrated?

Nothing really salient in today's after work hunt in the woods. A 1939 wheaty, a couple of old marbles, and some clad.

Now, the "micro" coffin (of which I have no idea what was used for) was in my opinion desecrated and who knows, looted. I was detecting in an area that I noted was recently detected by another folk because I saw many open holes. Come on! Rule #1 is to always cover our holes. The coffin was not covered either. In fact the lid and the cross were out of the hole. So, I wonder if there was someting metallic inside the coffin. Otherwise, how the MD found it? I passed mine over the hole and no signal was received. Not my business if whatever was in the coffin was taken, but at least everything should've been covered again. Come on, it was probably a memorial or something like that.

Well it is not my business if he/she took whatever was inside the coffin, but please cover your holes, would you?

The last picture looked like one. But usually there is a container but not always. One cache I found had only a cross and assorted things that were left. But there was a tablet in a baggie. There is usually a pencil and tablet.

You should be able to verify if the coffin is a geocache if you have the coordinates.

But I dont think a geocache would be buried. Maybe it had coins in it. Or maybe a banded pet bird. I dont know who would take the bones.

Geocaches are never buried, that looks like some voodoo stuff to me. You may already have a curse or some hoodoo put on you. Good luck my friend, you may be a zombie and dont even know it.

I'd take the curse if I dug the coffin, but I didn't. But, who knows I might become the first zombie detectorist lurking in the woods after innocent treasure hunters like you. Watch out!

Santerian Coconut Cleansing Spell

Be very careful about the gates you go through..I know even the computer can be a dangerous thing if allowed to open certain things....but that book could be a gate you don't want to go through...just my own opinion and not meant to try and tell you what to do.
