Anyone know what this could be? Found behind my farmhouse in NW Florida.

My two cents is since it was found in North West Florida it could have been used in Turpentine Operations, IE a resin catch. There was large scale Turpentine Operations in the Florida Panhandle to even include the Panama City area. St Andrews State Park (In Panama City), has a Turpentine Still on site, for visitors to see.

ETA: Quick search turned this up......

MAn...you need to lighten up. Enough with the caps...I hear you.
View attachment 1920038................. :)

MAn you really need to "think outside the box".

There have been people using these for everything from digging for treasures to gathering sand to make block.

No one said IT HAS to be from "mining".., OR that there was a "mine" anywhere near there.

None the less.

IT IS what it IS.

SHessh... the thing could have fallen off the equipment truck ON ITS way somewhere... could have been "stored" there etc etc ect etc etc.
