Ended a week of hunting the great site with another coin. Was very surprised to find a 2 Pfenninge Prussian coin from 1822 after a week of Spanish silver and big copper from Ireland. So strange to dig these in coastal South Carolina. Could this have been an Inn or a Trading Post of some sort. No records of commercial use anywhere. Found some other interesting artifacts as well but the string of coins was the highlight.

Wow!!! You have definitely found some time of historical crossroads site! Any ONE of those coins would have made my year, but to find all of them at the same site in one week is simply amazing. Excellent work!
