Metal Detecting
Hello again,
I found these two things in the school yard today among other stuff.
One is a heavy metal thing with letters on its top. Read: D- missing some of the next letters but took a good guess could be Lead or Head, the center reads 1/2 I be live.
Also the detector picked up a rock, very light, rust colored, has some shinny black spots and is just bearly magnetic.
Any Ideas??? Please and thank you ;D
Oh! and found the hot wheels in my back yard is a 1979 Hot wheels car that looks as though it was burned. I have found alot of Chared wood and the dog dug up real old wooden hing. Then I found another, at the back of my house.

"TR"
GAH! my hands hurt!

Nice finds Pinky :)
The "heavy metal thing" reminds me of a lead fishing sinker. 1/2 pound/8 ounces?
As to the other thing, all I can say is "Rock On" ;D

Cheers, Mike

The heavy metal thing looks like a lead seal for a meter or electrical box to me. The top rusted part is where there was a wire loop. Monty

that appears to be part of a 1/2" red head concrete anchor.. note the aomost readable "red head 1/2 in end shot of item.

"Expansion Anchor for Concrete
Non-Drill Anchors
UL, FM, ICBO
Bolt size 1/4 thru 3/4"
Setting Tools Available

Vibration and shock resistant, Red Head's Non-Drilling Anchor is a versatile, heavy-duty, expansion anchor. Features easy, drop-in installation and the same expansion principle as the self-drilling anchor. Non-drilling anchor expands by driving anchor over the plug'"

Never mind about the electrical seal...I was looking at the top view only and didn't realize it had depth. Monty
