Hey all. I found this iron artifact just a couple days ago and its had me pretty stumped. It's made up of a small loop attached to three prongs, with the inside of the loop being about the diameter of a penny. It was found next to an old wall in the proximity of some 18th century chains (though they might not be related). Any ideas as to what it could be? :icon_scratch:

Thanks for lookin and happy hunting!

The first thing that came to my mind was a guide for a cable. Maybe something like a lightning rod cable.
