No markings of any type. Pressed copper about the size of a Morgan dollar

Correct, rule out British. Looks kind of Spanish but maybe not.

Tinpan, you'll need to find an exact match for that crown. (For example, note that it shows five ribs, and each rib has a vertical line of round dots on it, and the crown's base is quite "thin.") A good place to look for an identical crown is on older European coins which show the country's Royal (or Emperial) crown.

Like with the crown, the "details" of an anchor on such items is sometimes a usable ID-clue. But the anchor-&-rope on your emblem looks rather generic, instead of a distinctive style.
