Unknown Civil War Bullet

I found a Civil War Bullet that I have never seen before. It has three rings , flat bottom, and the base is much more narrow than typically seen. You can see the smaller size when compared to the standard 3 ringer. Any clues?

It is one of several variations of civil war .54 Merrill Carbine bullets. That breechloading rifle was used by both sides in the war, so both sides made Merrill bullets. See bullets #136-140 in the McKee-&-Mason book on civil war bullets. Yours might be bullet #140, a Confederate-made Merrill.
