I was looking over some of my past finds and noticed I had two of these tokens. I can't tell for sure where I found them. Most definately a park. The United Railway and Electric Company operated in Baltimore between 1899 and 1930, I believe. They are not worth much. My question is, how can I date them? And, if you notice, one of them is "off center." Strange. Also, the one off-center has a much thinner U in the center, and seems to be missing the number 1 below the U. Any ideas? Thanks for looking. According to Atwood's Catalog of US & Canadian transportation tokens, there were numerous varieties of these. I can't tell for sure which yours are, but the Atwood book indicates the first of the type were put into use in 1919.
