Unexpected find in gold country

Found this in my classifier while panning around Coloma two days ago. It's definitely gold, it was about 8 inches deep in some hard pack in a crack in the bedrock. I also found a bunch of mercury too...

It was very cool to find that cross in my classifier! First time I found anything in the classifier. I need to go see a jeweler to see about having it attached to a necklace. My lucky charm!
