Underwater headphones

Hi everyone.
Can anyone tell me if I will be able to hear the signal(even the weak ones) While wearing a 5-7 mil neoprene hood while diving. If not are there alternate headsets to get or will I need to modify my hood.

I can't speak for the use of Whites Surfmaster Pro, but I didn't have any trouble with Tesoro's Tiger Shark, Sand Shark. Fisher's CZ20, nor Minelab's Excal. While diving while using the hood. You can cut a small hole in the hood where the ears are and attach a small neoprene flap inside for when your not wearing the phones. One of my dive buddies did this to his hood. Whites used to have a vibrating bone set that went inside the hood, but it isn't made anymore.
