A buddy of mine works as a maintenance worker for a county school system. He was talking to another school worker friend at a local grade school which was doing remodeling of their library and was tossing out items to the dumpster that was unwanted. Look what was going to the dumpster. He saved it from being discarded. Unbelievable they didn't donate to a museum or county library.

These are the people responsible for teaching our kids !! It's amazing no educator stood up to keep that from going in the trash !! It lets you know what they think of this country's true history and heritage doesn't it ? Good for the guy that saved it. He has more insight than the people that tried to throw it away.

It's dumpster diving time.

Friend of mine donated to a school a huge collection of his extra artifacts to a private school. He even included a glass display case for the science Dept. It has disappeared no trace.
Never ever donate your items to a museum or school.
I have seen many fantastic sites covered in pavement because nothing new was to be gained and I am talking 2' ceremonial blades..
Nice save he now as a little bit of history that is not worth much if anything but to the holder.
