On average I dig about 150 signals when I do a hunt. That means 150 times going from standing to on my knees, then back to standing. I'm almost 6 feet tall and weigh 250Lbs.

An hour before I start detecting I take 2 tylenol and 2 ibuprofen and it makes a whole world of difference. It shaves about 20 years off my life (I'm 56). Nor do I have the horrible aches and pains the next day. Yes I'm a bit stiff but not like without taking those the day before, where I could barely get up the steps, my bones cracking so much it sounded like the drums from an Iron Maiden song.

That really does work and work well.

And another AMAZING remedy I discovered on my own by accident for cracks in your fingers that works exceptionally well. Extreme tooth pain cream. Just fill in the cracks with that like spackle and it not only instantly stops the pain, they heal a lot faster. Try it I think you'll be amazed.

Don’t listen to him!! He works for big Pharma! 🤣🤣 dude I totally know what you mean.Im 45 and anytime I go out , I have to pop one and you’re right. It seems like I don’t really “feel it” while I’m out for the day

I get a lot of cracks in my fingers from being subject to caustic soil and always washing my hands. I dig in limestone so the pH is very high. One day my thumb had this huge gaping canyon of a crack in it and I saw that tooth cream laying there. I knew it had an agent like Novocain so I just filled that crack and the pain vanished in 3 seconds. Been using it ever since.

Hi. I use ibuprofen with panadol, which is the same med as Tylenol, for my back, they are renowned for working really well together.
Agree, they are a good pairing. 👍
Dont have problems with cracked skin.
Another good thing to stop a bleeding cut faster is hemorrhoid cream.
Thats usually the cream applied to cuts in boxing. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and is great for cuts and scrapes.

Just be careful you don't routinely exceed the max daily dose.
  • 3,000 mg per day of acetaminophen
  • 1,200 mg per day of ibuprofen
Acetaminophen can damage your liver on higher doses and ibuprofen can damage your kidneys on higher doses.

I take 2 ibuprofen myself when I detect 800 total.

I use the preemptive strike method for my hands. In the fall, when the air gets dry, I start using the items shown to keep some moisture in my hands. They both work well. The bag balm can leave a slight greasy film. The working hands is not greasy. You don’t need to deal with cracked and bleeding hands at all.

I don’t take anything for pain unless it is really needed. Pain is the way my body tells me I am over doing it, or something is wrong. If I am going to do any physical activities, I want to know what is going on with my body so I can deal with the issue or stop before I tear something up.
