The Michelin tool 2 3/4" long. Has an engraving of the Michelin Man on one side, and is marked,"MICHELIN TIRE CO. MILLTOWN, N.J. MADE IN USA" on the other. Hollow. DSCN8310.JPGDSCN8311.JPGDSCN8312.JPGDSCN8313.JPG

The case appears to be copper. I thought it was a cigarette case until I cleaned the mud off of it. Measures 2 1/2" tall2" wide, and about 1 1/4" thick.
It has the two threaded rods on opposite corners. 5 holes in the bottom.I found some car parts in the areaso maybe this is off something of that nature?

Thanks for the help!

The shape sure looks like one, but the dimensions mentioned would only hold a couple of D-cells.
