What's up yall, it was a sweet day outside today so I treated myself to some nice easy turf hunting for a change. I hit two of our regular spots; two old schools. Spent maybe two hours at the first one and got about 6 wheats and the thing with the Chevy emblem. No silver even though it surprised me just a tad; I didn't care, it was so sweet out and it was peaceful and the clad was popping anyway.

I headed over to the next school, and walked right into the spot all of us usually go to first. I was finding stuff as if we've never hit it very hard before...the clad was flowing and the wheats were popping right and left and I pulled a buffalo and then a silver....something. It says "MIKE" and what looks like "LOVE" as it got chopped; it's marked sterling though. Things settled down for a while and I kept on and was about to hit it. I was going slow was listening for the faint peeps of the deep silver/wheats when all of a sudden BANG BANG BANG. Walker. Three inches. Go figure. ::) 8) That made me stick around a while longer to draw out the great hunt that was at hand along with the great weather. Wandered off a little and then left, but it was indeed a nice day out.

And I wasn't going to post this here but since I mentioned the other walker, what the heck. Went on a great camping/detecting trip last weekend with a big group from another site and had a great time. (That's $36.36 in clad right there :o)
