Found these today in a different section of yard where I found the 1860's Nova Scotia militia button. They may clean up better or I might just leave them alone. Thanks for looking! :)

A british coin I believe and has a lot of detail under the crud. I just don't want to mess it up. Any idea of type and age???

Yes, you got it. It's the profile of George III, and remember with different varieties, or especially all the counterfeits that exist, things don't have to match exactly.
I figured it was. I'm usually good at finding out what the rough shape coins I find are but I'm beat from the bay of fundy lobster season! :)

I know no excuse. Haha I have been slipping out to hunt any chance I get which isn't much.
