managed a couple of hours out tonight before tea :laughing7: went to the field that produced the Medieval Stirrup Ring :headbang: can.t believe it's a year ago ::)

had a couple of Silver coins, William111 shilling(very worn) could be a copy :dontknow: next dig after the William turned out to be a coin right on the surface(see picture) Edward1 penny, London Mint, quite nice this one :o unusall double beading on the centre of Overse :icon_scratch:

The fields in stubble at the momment but when ploughed, I am expecting some nice find from this are again :headbang: there is a loverly old Church dating back to Saxon times, and also a 15th Century Moated Manor house, and right near the river, in the Tees valley :headbang:

They jumped all around the field before returning to the nest, trying to fool predators!

some of the hammered coins we find here are quite rare, and very valuble, but the one shown is very common :'( but still very nice to find
