I say clearly an anchor. It's not perfect but it's got the components in the right places. It's crude but so are the other symbols, which could mean really old. Nice finds!!View attachment 2187993
One more thing I learned is that anchor was a symbol of Jesus in the midlle ages like anchor of soul. Symbol of hope and stability. So you did get it👍

It must be the pirate influence I have been subjected to over the years.

Would it be possible to get a clear photo of that symbol?

I thought it looked like an anchor

This looks like it might be silver, the other I can't tell

Silver dug out of the ground normally isn't tarnished but I've seen a few pieces that I've dug that looked like that and were sterling, depend on the environment where its been sitting for so many years.
I can't see any gold wash in the pictures unless I'm missing something..

I take that back, now I see what your seeing, are you sure that those rope looking pieces are not real gold attached to a silver ring, I've dug a few rings from South America that have Gold and Silver as different parts of the same ring..

Yes it could be like a filigran added gold not sure👍. And yes silver definitly get a dark patina after this many years , bronze tends to be dark green. And to me it would not make much sense to make a bronze ring with gold because bronze is similar colored like gold when it is new. I could be wrong but i think this is silver definetly . maybe this is older than thousand years and yes I know that sounds crazy but I found also this on the same spot a chiped or choped byzantine coin so definetly would be going back on that area. Here comes the picture of the coin...
