Maybe they should have gone into the actual war zone with bullets flying at them to get a better idea of what the military personnel actually have to live with, other than losing their lives over there!!!! I salute all of the soldiers!!!! Chug

Well anyone that refers to an athlete as a hero doesn't have a whole lot of sense. So with that said, those in picture 2 do what they do so those in picture 1 can have the lives they are lucky enough to have. You can't (at least I can't) knock someone just because they make a lot of money for doing something simple.... because given the opportunity most of us would do the same thing. I'd have no problem being paid millions of dollars to detect!

I was wondering how to reply to this...then scrolled down and IP has said it all in a nutshell.

I'm pretty sure a lot of these high paid sportsmen are embarrassed at how much they earn when they see "normal" folk and what they have to do to earn in a year what they earn in a day. Should they complain and say "I think you should'nt be paying me 100k a week.Lets make it 25k." ?
Ain't gonna happen,and as IP said,who can blame them? Those of us less talented..and where the England soccer team is concerned i use that word lightly...choose our work or professions to the best of our abilities. Many choose the military...and have to accept it's consequences.
