I had been working a colonial site for a few weeks whenever I had a couple hours here and there.
Noteable coins were: KG II copper, KG II farthing, KG III farthing, William copper 1701, 1 reale 1773, 2 reale 1778.
Also found a number of artifacts including a few toasted coppers, a naval flat button, 1812 period eagle button, very old sterling ring, and the whole back of a sterling hand mirror (minus the handle).
Pictured are the 2 reale 1778 and the William copper 1701. This is by far the best condition Spanish silver I have ever found. The copper, not only one of my oldest, was in better condition than most comming out of the Connecticut soil!
