I have not been able to get out since late spring because of a problem with my back. The first two times I have went in the last couple weeks were pretty rough. This morning my wife and I went to her aunts house. At first it seemed like another rough one. Then I got a solid dime signal on my AT Pro. As I cleaned off a 1919 merc my wife asked if I wanted her to put the plug back. I said that I had better check it again just in case. When I did it I got the same hit. It was a 1935 merc! It turned out to be the best single hole I've dug in awhile and just what I needed get me going! We also found four wheaties(1919,1946,1949,1957) and a 1979 Canadian dime. Good to be back!

Wow, i need pointers from you, congrats

That is really cool.

I've only done this one time. The mercs were literally under a rock on a playground and the rock was on top of the ground. One other time I found a Merc and a couple of Rosys in the same hole.

Nice twofer.
It's always a good idea to double check the hole. You just never know.

Congrats.

Always check those holes! I've had two 1700s spills. One was a 1760 HIBERNIA and a 1737 BRITANNIA and the other was a couple pieces of Spanish silver. Hope your back gets better. I deal with back issues and it SUCKS. No other way to describe it. Great hunt

Good hunt there ! Hope the back stays well !
