hello everyone, me and the wife decided to go yard saleing today thank god we did. we got to the third sale on our list, and i found a few things like an old hummel, and a couple of other things. as i was looking the wife called me over to her by a table. she said look at these there were four wooden boxes of mixed silver i was going to buy them all but an elderly lady asked if she could buy one so i let her take the first choice. well we ask the lady how much for the silver and she said a couple bucks me and the wife as antique collectors just looked at each other and smiled as we new what they were. we paid a total of $6 dollars for three boxes of mixed silver 90% of it is very old i still need to do some research on them but what a find i guess you never know what a day will bring. now i am going metal detecting while my luck is still good. thanks all.
