Here's the last two hunts from a couple of weeks ago.

A nice table rock, a sweet digger with tons of polish, a 'bird point", a hafted scraper, a Dickson, and a bullet. If anyone could shed light on the age of the bullet, I was wondering if it was Civil War era?

Nice Finds Steve.

Can you measure the diameter of the bullet (widest part).
There is little doubt in my mind that it is from the CW era.

It is 1/2 inch thick in diameter.

I didn't notice your scale at the top of your first pic or I could have seen that it was somewhere around .50 cal. :icon_scratch:

I have a good CW era projectile reference but I am not seeing a specimen identical to yours, or I am overlooking it. I would post it on the T-net CW metal detecting forum and see what you get for opinions.

Congratulations! Nice awl, bottom center, top photo.

Those are all nice finds. Your bullet looks like a .454 cal Sharps slanting breech one. Post it in the "what is it" forum and you should get a prompt reply.
