I haven't posted much lately, so I thought I'd post up the finds from my last few hunts. Today I was out and about and found these items to include a very nice period Navy button, a Draped Bust half cent in VERY rough shape and a few buttons. The silver pocket knife was my last target of the day and found near my truck.
I also included this shot from a few days ago. I had found a small colonial site that yielded a few buttons and a George II copper. I figure I have at least one more good day at that site before it's done for.
The last shot is some stuff I found near a friends house. I had helped him find his septic tank and then checked out the woods behind his house. As it turns out there is the ruins of a water powered sawmill there that he didn't know about. So we found a few things, but more important we identified a cool historic complex that he is going to research.
