Didn't get out hardly at all this year due to some family obligations and the dry year we had. I don't like the hard soil and risk of killing grass.
For years, I've been driving by a plain two story frame house on a county road that takes us to my mother-in-law's house (and lots of other houses that are tempting). These aren't real close to home and we are usually in a hurry so it is usually just a temptation. However last week I told my wife we were making one stop and, sure enough, the owner gave me permission. So I went back two days later and did a 20x20 area between the house and the road. Didn't get much junk, but did get these beauties before my 5-year old White's XLT battery pack started giving out on me. Also found some clad: 2 qtrs, 3 dimes, 15 cents ( '17, '18, '35, '45, '51-D)
The owner said I can come back any time. Hurray!
