turns out its a 1650's coin found here in NH.... oh Yeah!!

Can anyone help me to identify this coin?
I can only make out a slight image on the coin.
Next to the coin is a 1782 1/2 penny on the left of it.
The other coin is a 1821 large penny.

The back of the penny is too pitted to make out anything, so we can't go by that.

I tried best as I could to photo it.
Don't know if it's English, Canadian or what?

Found it in a Farmers field here in NH.
Anyone have any ideas, write back!

Thanks
Mike B ( Derry NH)

Congrats on getting a real old copper, they do show up occasionally in the states, we got one or possibly two in our little area of South Jersey and it seems the New England area produces some, perhaps due to a higher influx of French settlers. Here is a post of one posted on TNet and also a link to one found in a Archie dig in CT.

I do know its a hard century to break into. But as far as I'm concerned, you are the one who finds the BEST stuff.
You find things that have been buried for about 2000 yrs.
Whenever I see a post by you, I always enjoy reading it.
