turns out its a 1650's coin found here in NH.... oh Yeah!!

Can anyone help me to identify this coin?
I can only make out a slight image on the coin.
Next to the coin is a 1782 1/2 penny on the left of it.
The other coin is a 1821 large penny.

The back of the penny is too pitted to make out anything, so we can't go by that.

I tried best as I could to photo it.
Don't know if it's English, Canadian or what?

Found it in a Farmers field here in NH.
Anyone have any ideas, write back!

Thanks
Mike B ( Derry NH)

Re: Not sure what year this coin is?????????

Mike, some of these guys may be good enough to id it from your photo. Usually, it helps to give a size or a photo comparison to another known coin. It looks pretty cool to me. Is it as big as a large cent? I will keep my eye on your thread to see what others tell you. Nice coin.

A picture of the back would also help. :icon_thumright:

Looks like a good find, size and reverse photo will probably ID it.

Thank You guys.
I do hope its a French Liard (1600s) coin, that would definitely be my oldest coin yet.
