I have been visiting this home on and off for the past few months. I don't have anyone to
hunt with most of the time so I usually don't go. But I was given a tip that the house
was to be demolished on the 15th. So I knew I had my final chance to go.

I started three days ago. Basically hunting the perimeter, doorways and in front of the house.
There are actually two homes on the property. One is the head rancher and the other the farm hand.
Both were built around the turn of the century.

I got my nephew and friend to go with me the past couple of days. The floor was ripped out in one house and had
a dirt floor. After reading TexasConnection's post last summer on the store front's finds, I knew I had the opprotunity to possibly
finds some coins.

I did manage one 5 cent tax token a few pennies. The rest of the coins,

1973 Quarter
1978 Quarter
60's era pennies

Anybody ID this spoon looking thing and medalion?

Thanks for reading.

That must have been a fun place to hunt. :tard:

Thanks for posting all the pictures. Are those signs of the zodiac on the medal?

Nice hunt!

Hello fellow Tneter's,

Here are some pic's after I cleaned up some of the relics and compared tax token's. The one on the right was my
grandmother's and the other is the one I found.

Also is some kind of pendant or tie tack. Maybe someone knows what it is and can ID it?

After cleaning the medalion is appears to have N.Y.C. stamped on the back as well as Accessor something.

Thanks for looking and happy holidays.

The Military item is a US Army Good Conduct Ribbon lapel pin. They are issued with the actual medal and ribbon. I have one just like it.

Stank...
I actually drove up to that site the other day and got scared off by the 'No trespassing' sign.
Anyone bother you while you were there?
I may show up late Friday afternoon!
