I so much enjoy this wildlife sanctuary,you never know what is to be seen..






One Tom to the right,beard gave him away.



Water was warmer than the air, sigh.....winters a coming for sure.



This guy...

Three months ago...

Mowed 21 miles today.

We had quite a bit of fog this morning and cool temps last night. This weather is going to fool the bears into some feeding frenzies for sure.

Some more nice photos Chris. I could be wrong, but I think the Tom turkey in the video might in fact be a bearded hen. Next time you see it, try to get a close up to be sure.

I guess it would Chris. Occasionally a hen will have a beard. I shot one during the Spring turkey season (Toms only hunt) quite a few years ago. I tagged it and checked it in as a legal kill. Although I've never seen one in person, I've heard on rare occasions a doe will have antlers also.
