Learn from proven experience and your history and leave the kiddie stories for the fireside-Did hydro blasting mining ever return after the ban--NO--howz about massive draglines---NO---well maybe righteous floating bucket lines??----NO NO and NO. Two other things, IPA - After flying up the North Fork on Google Earth, I see that it has a pretty steep gradient which means very few large gravel bars
to Hi-Bank on, and that lots of kayakers and rafters will be "interacting" with you during much of the warm weather. Somebody correct me if i'm offbase on this, please.

Fullpan, Not knowing exactly where he's targeting it's hard to say if there's gravel or not. You are right- that country is steep. There are a couple of well known swimming holes but I doubt if he would see or be bothered by kayakers. The main stem absolutely, lots of rafting and kayaking but that's the wild and scenic I was referring to so no prospecting anyway- at least none that anyone is talking about. ;-)
