Wow this is fun had a good day at the TS picked up 4 necklaces with pendants ,1 necklace was junk but the pendent was 14k cz. The rest 10k
With one of them marked cz , the larger pendant is also marked 1/2 which I'm hoping mean 1/2 carat total weight diamond. I'll have to get the other stone checked. All for $12 .
I just want to thank T-Net and all who post here .I've shop at TS a lot but never really looked at the potential of what was there. Reading all the post opened a new view of what I was walking past. Of course now I can't pass a TS or yard sale .

Sweet finds! Good luck and happy hunting.

Just a stupid question, where do you or anyone else sell the chains/stones or any kind of silver and or gold?

Precious metals can be sold at several different Precious Metal Refineries for better than 90% of spot price. Some sell to jewelers, I have sold for 90% at local Chinese jewelers. Diamonds unless solitary are not worth a lot, so I save them to have put in custom made jewelry for wife....

Thank you for your answer. Now for stupid question number 2, how do you find or know if where you are taking your gold or sterling silver is a Precious Metal Refinery? Sorry to be asking so many questions but I am new to this. I am now having to kick it in high gear since I got laid off from my job last week and unemployment will only cover my bills but not groceries, gas, car maintenance, health insurance. Thank you all again for your time and patience.
