Not if you are one of the few still selling meat.
You can't blame a producer for wanting the best price for their product. Besides, nobody is putting a gun to the head of the consumers who pay high prices.
When demand meets supply, true market value is established. It's like gas around here. The supply is high and the demand is low because people are staying at home. Average gasoline price in WI is $1.18 a gallon. The stuff with ethanol is only good for about 60 days after it leaves the refinery. There is a glut of gas. Same with farmer's gluts, prices fall. But in a famine prices skyrocket.
