Trump to Declare National Emergency Today

i don't understand the idiots where i live.

Bottled water sold out at walmart. BUT the primo brand bottled water in 5 gal jugs the rack is full and no one buying it.

I needed a gal of distilled water for my cpap and i had to go to 5 stores before i found two gal bottles on the shelf.

I bought both just in case.

Tp sold out but paper towels were still there.

I live out in the desert and am waiting for the temps to hit 100 degrees and the humidity to drop to 5 %.
That will kill most the Covid-19 in minutes in the air or on surfaces.

We never have flu cases in the summer.

Its not clear by your post if you are suggesting paper towels could be substituted for TP or if it was just an observation about paper products on the shelf. Paper towels should never be flushed. They are not good for a septic system's health. I'm sure you know this but I wanted to clarify in case others thought about doing it.

Awful quiet here now... coronavirus ? ? ?

***ARC grips his rum tightly and grabs a roll of toilet paper just in case***

Psst. Hey. Anybody looking some sweet toilet paper? I got a buddy that's holding some.

I think the idea is to wrap the tp around the bottle, safety first.

Way ahead of ya :P

Catches drips not so well... turns to some sort of melted white goo.

Profane... now there is a word I have not heard in awhile. heh

So I guess from what I gathered online about this virus... it basically started from some Chinese folks who dabbled in the illegal trade of an endangered... highly illegal to possess.... animal that they were selling at some craphole meat market.

Oh... the virus can be on anything shipped from China it was saying as well.

Even cardboard.

Spray your incoming mail with Lysol or Clorox spray. We just got two mail order catalogs from New York today, which is a current hot-spot. They went in the trash immediately, the rest got a light spray down. Anything we all can do to slow this pandemic down will help. Take no chances my friends, especially if you are in the increased risk category.

Yea I'm Not Ordering from China Right Now.
I'm pretty Confident a few Items I Ordered lately may have Originated in China,
But With Shipping times I've Experienced in the Past.
I would think, Those selling here have Surely Been in possession of them for awhile.

All schools in Broome county NY are now closed until april 13th--[my county] and my wife works at a school in Broome

I read that it can live on cardboard for 24 hrs, stainless steel and plastic for 72 hrs

Of course When you Handle anything from the mail,
There is no saying the Person who mailed it , Isn't in Home Quarantine, Or should be.

but personally I'm not going to get that Paranoid Over it.
It's all too Late. the U.S. should have been Shut Down from the rest of the World on Day 1, Before Patient 1 was Found here.

Planes & Boats, & Vehicles out, Non in. Not even Empty Ones!

Tis funny I thought about this all yesterday when getting the mail out of mailbox... and again today.

This will change the way people think hopefully.

I would REALLY like to see changes to public restrooms... they are IMO public enemy 1 for these sorts of things.

When eating out at even large chain restaurants often find the "setup" of the bathroom is lame at best... and amenities for sanitation lacking.

I think ALL bathroom doors should NEVER OPEN INWARD... and if they do they should mandated to supply paper toweling... and not just that hot air crap which just blows the germs of the room all over you.

I could go on for 10 minute rant JUST on restrooms.

Soo Many Mail People Handle Mail, gloves or not their eyes and noses are exposed except in d.c.
So I Don't really Fear Mail in My Box, It's more what is inside.

Just an Example of a Package on the Way from N.J.

Even if Automated it Goes through Allot & it still Needs to Be handled Carried & Put in My Box,
Has any Mail Carrier been Reported as Testing Positive yet ?
I Would think that would be News

There was a time when most people licked their envelopes and stamps -before self-adhesive models. I remember *****ing about the stamps and envelopes in my office in grad school that just would not stick when licked. My friend shared my office and asked to see them. He burst out laughing and pointed out that cockroaches had licked the glue off my stamps and envelopes. Yuck. That was in the 1970's and I haven't licked a stamp since then...
