In late January I went to the hardware store to get another box of N-95's, which I wear for the work I do. There were no boxes and the owner said some lady came in and bought all he had. I went online and paid 30% more than I did 2 months before. They were delivered Jan 29. I knew then it was time to get ready, but I was a Fire Chief trained in nuclear waste accident incident command once upon a time so being ready for whatever is ingrained. I checked my long term supplies in the insulated container and restocked rice and beans. Each week I bought 50% more of all the long lasting foodstuff and supplies like isopropyl alc. , H2O2, kleenex and paper towels, cleaning stuff and a new wool vest to keep my chest warm. Freezer is full, if I found good cuts on sale I bought lots.
So, by sunday when the Governor told old folks like me to stay home, I went out for important perishables like beer and whiskey. At this point I feel that my 93 year old Dad and I are ready......for whatever. Boredom has already set in.

that is rumor mill base, the biggest thing
i see is, its like the flu, it will pass,an
we should be able to work, play ect, and all
will be ok soon enough, b/c it will just die
out. WRONG a Coronaviruse job is to replicate
b/c of the way it is made up.that is why lock
downs and social distancing and are important
to stopping spread.

Speaking about the pod eaters and others, who just will not cooperate & comply.
They are not, going to be allowed, to endanger the rest of the general public.
Wall St to shut down for a cleaning.... dang, that almost sounds ominous....
This is how it'll happen with the banks, don't know if this weekend or when, but
they'll close on a Friday, work all weekend, & re-emerge Monday morn,
a new entity... (I hope).
