Hi, yesterday I got a new 6 x 8 SEF coil in the mail, so I was really excited to try it out despite the 100+ degree heat, but when I got it on my detector and turned it on, my DFX was going berserk, falsing like crazy, and unstable.

I tried all of the stock programs but the only one even slightly usable was the hi-trash one, but only in mixed mode. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and solved it, or should I contact Kellyco and see what they have to say about this problem? Thanks, any advice appreciated. Niffler

Just curious, What was wrong with the stock coil? Frank...111-1 profilecracked.jpg

Hi Sniffer ,
I have had two different whites M6's and used the 8x6 sef on both of them and they worked great , never had a problem anywhere close to what you described . The M6 is not a DFX but they do use the same coils . I would check with Kellyco maybe they will change coils with you or take care of your problem , I would talk to someone other than the front clerk tho , one of the tech's would be good. Good luck hope they can get you going .
