Hi building a trommel at the moment mostly from scrap steel, still a lot of bracing, hoppers, punch plate drum etc to be fitted but slowly working through it between snow showers & limited tools.....

No Reed, l'm waiting for the 20mm punch plate drum to arrive, next episode is the rear feed hopper & grizzly bars. I have a hopper vibrator somewhere so I'll dig it out & test it on the top feed tray to keep it at a shallower angle & give the bigger rocks that will go over the grizzly bars a better wash, only concern is welds & vibration......

It's there, still fixing paperwork etc to run it, hopefully it will work this year, if not, next season for sure..... Plenty time, the gold doesn't migrate or melt
