Was actually supposed to play golf today, but a electrical storm scratched that. Well, it quit raining after an hour or so and I decided to break out the detector on a nice cool evening. I had out to local park right across from a college where I had previously found a 1/2 CT heart shaped diamond ring. (see thread "Ring#3") I didn't get ten feet from my truck and got a good signal off the bat. I dug it up to find a child's brass ring. That must have set the tempo for the day because about ten feet away, I get a good "gold/nickel" signal. I dig to find a huge class ring! It looked like a beast coming out of that hole lol. Could not find any markings besides school insignia, I am assuming it is titanium. Was made by the Jonsten company.(Still not real sure what it is) I am going to try to locate the owner. Kept digging finding some clad a total of about $0.86. I see a row of benches over by the playground and work my way to the second bench. BAM another gold signal! I dig to find more gold in the hole! This was a woman's band with a three diamond setting, but noticed that two of the rocks had fallen out. Was very happy to see the 14Kt on the inside of the band. Not bad for two hours! This hobby is becoming very addictive. Thanks for looking and HH!
