Treasures found while weeding my garden

These items have been collected the past few weeks while I have been weeding my garden. Pretty cool to find all of this and I wasn't even looking. I'm hooked.!! I want to find more!
My house was built in 1864 In Maryland. I think my garden is on top of where they used to throw their trash.

Sit tight. I'm on my way over right now with a shovel and a sifter.... Seriously though... I would be waiting outside the metal detector dealer's front door at 5 am tomorrow morning if I was just pulling eyeball finds like that out of my garden. Hope you find a lot more.

I wonder how many people with $1000 detectors are rolling there eyes thinking "REALLY"! All I find is new pennies and your out tvere in your garden pulling treasure with your bare hands lol It's awesome that you've got such history and a detector and pinpointer will find you lots more. Awesome!...keep digging and get a MD for sure!....you can get the bounty hunter Track iv for around $100 to start you off...then for sure, get a pin pointer...I love my Garrett pin pointer...saves a LOT of worthless digging, time and frustration...totally worth the price for the fun you will have...I envy you your old house!...your own digging ground~

Nice finds. Your garden could be where the privy was located "outhouse". I would dig it out there could be some killer glass and other treasures.

What is the make of your garden trowel? I'm thinking of weeding my garden and would love to find some treasures, also. Seriously though, you've got to be curious as to what else is down there. Good luck and i hope you find a lot more history.
