Yes, I did and it does help. I was hoping for an "in between" for the Style variation, but I do understand how it would effect the page, overall. Tried the black, and it's OK, but I'm going to try and get used to the white. Let me give it a couple days to try and get used to it.

Once we fix more issues we might offer an additional skin option, something in between. There are just a lot fixes going on right now and every skin option we offer is a lot of work to maintain. Especially if only a handful of users end up using it

Hopefully after a few days of getting used to it and things getting fixed people will like the update. It is a big speed boost which is always important. If a site isn't fast people tend to leave pretty quickly.

It's understandable. We get the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" all the time... but if we followed that mantra we'd be on the same forum software we were 15 years ago and nothing would work.

What do you mean new thread button? There is "post thread" to start new thread, and at top far left is "New Posts" Icon.

At top of forum click on "whats new" then below "what's new" is "new posts", & "new threads".

We have completed an upgrade of TreaasureNet.com to the latest software. There are still lots of upgrades coming and still lots of work to perform. The site is not done upgrading yet...

• We still have to re-index the search engine, that is ongoing. DONE
• We have to reoptimize all images to .webp format, that is ongoing.
• We still have some bugs to fix with some custom add-ons, that is ongoing.
• We still have to fix up the templates/skins, that is ongoing.

The new software should be faster, but the rebuild processes are running in the background and that can slow the site down a little.

You can customize the look with the icons in the header. You can choose different background images, a fluid width, as well as a light or dark mode. To do so, click the following icons in the header.
