Treasure Quest on Discovery Channel

MY son inlaw is kin to Greg Stemm, who is co owner of the group that found the SS Republic. He (Gregg) has an exhibit IN ELBERTA AL . I think the show is a 1pm on DSC channel today, 1-17-09

watched it...little dry to start off with, maybe it will pick up, will give it another try next week

The 3rd and 4th episodes should be interesting.

Treasure Quest
The Legend
Jan 29th

Odyssey's discovered a shipwreck so promising they've codenamed it "Legend". If they're right, it could be one of the most monumental shipwreck finds ever. But when you've made a discovery that could change history, the trick is keeping it safe.

Treasure Quest
Return to the Legend
Feb 6th

Odyssey's found dozens of rare brass cannon and compelling clues at the "Legend" site. Can they recover one of these massive guns to get the proof they need? Is this the high-value target they've been looking for? It's 4 tons of history hanging by a wire.

Just a reminder that episode 2 is on Discovery Channel tonight at 10pm.

ARRGH, Can they drag this thing out any slower, I would rather have them make the series and sell it on DVD, I will watch it all in one day. These Commercials are killing me!

I always try to wait a few minutes and start playing it when its about 15 minutes in. That way I can fast forward through the commercials!

For those that don't have DVR or Tivo, it must suck! ;D ;D Nothing like being able to pause live TV and go take a pee break!

I have gone to the movies before and found myself trying to pause or rewind.

So far, a great show. Informative, interesting... two thumbs up.

I found it an insane way of doing business when they put the elephant tusk back. Okay... now it will continue to rot on the bottom of the sea. I would have liked to have seen it in a museum somewhere, and since they already had it on the ship... just dumb.

They should just ignore the French airplane. It would eventually run low on fuel and go away. Let them look, they won't see much anyhow.

The next episode is on TIVO and I'll watch it today... recording the entire series.

The show is great. I'll stay tuned in!

Somebody record it an put it on youtube so us less unfortunate people with plain ole tv's that get 3 channels with rabbit ears can see it.

Its too long to put on you tube! Plus TV shows are not allowed without conscent and I doubt Discovery Cahnnel would allow it.

I checked http://www.hulu.com/ and http://www.fancast.com/ online for you to see if the series was added yet. Nope, too new I think. But if you keep checking, they may show up.

Did anyone check Discovery Channels Web Site ?

Sometimes they re-air the shows online
