The rock you've circled looks more like a turtle climbing over that boulder, heading toward the upper right. OR, a female sea turtle laying eggs.....still facing toward the upper right.
This rock garden is a whole mess of possibilities......mostly natural things. This kind of jumble is the perfect kind of place where the Spanish (or later group) could leave large clues camouflaged in all the rip / rap. You'll need to look closer for the (shutter) verification marks. LOL

yes, your right shortstack,i just didnt know if there where letters and # on that rock,its so hard for me to make those calls,it would be good to hide signs in that mess.

yeah..this is a far far stretch. The figure looks like several things. But one of those several might be a face looking out of a furred head covering.

Must be Elvis........JD didn't have such a tall and pronounced pompodoor. Back in picture on post #997, that looks like a hippopotomus's head. Is there a water hole in the direction he's looking? Just for grins, check out that square, outlined in black on the face of the rock directly over his head, and up hill. Natural or manmade door / hatch?? Just guessing you undestand. )

thanks moons,i didnt even see that face shape till you pointed it out,now i see it and other things close by in that photo.its funny how you can go about 100 yards along that same rock out crop and find much newer stuff that matches most of what i find all the time. i just couldnt understand those two points and they way they were worked. shortstack iam going with elvis too,good eye on that black square,i didnt see that.i will be going back there,that is a new area i have been to only once,and there seems to be alot there on that mountain side.thats the area of the kings 5th,death trap looking set up,that Z shaped stone work or 7,whatever it is,and some other interesting things.

well,i went out in the field today with the detector to hunt some treasure,but only found a buckel and two pieces of ammo from i guess the ammo pouch that the buckel fell from.but i did get some good photos,the shadow signs really seemed to be out today.

also found a stone airplane,maybe left from vistors from another planet,i think i may snatch it up next time iam in that area and take it home.dont understand the meaning of it?

heres the reason i went out today,i wanted to do some more looking at this site with what i thought to be a old script letter j, and it worked out good,it was really alive today with alot of good shadow signs.ill have to study this photos better,before i call this treasure site D
