Detector(s) used
All types of BFOs owned. Especially want White's Arrow; White's Oremaster; Exanimo Spartan Little Monster; Garrett contract Little Monster.
Here's your chance to weigh in. Regardless of whether the consensus is positive or negative I don't intend to do that again. To those who think I was just promoting something the question is ... what?
I made no offers and didn't even attach my real name to the posts to get people chasing my other books. I don't sell. I buy and trade. Pretty much ruins most of the negative opinions but give it your best shot. I don't bite. exanimo, ss

I agree with you, SS - most of the leads would have been found by the avid reader. I knew many of them already. But I thought it was great since it is the stories (not the technology) that keeps our hobby going. Newbies can read your posts, get excited about the possibilities, buy a detector and our hobby expands. I agree that most leads will not be followed up on. I think most thunters like the IDEA of finding treasure, not necessarily going out and finding it. I think that applies to many areas of life as well. So share general stories (like you did already) or leads you'll never check out. Obviously don't share unpublished stories that you intend to seriously pursue yourself.

Forget the negative people on this forum!!? >:( I've already started ignoring certain authors' postings because of their tendency to tear others down. But the majority of us shouldn't leave this great forum because we don't like the few naysayers. Keep sharing! Keep expanding our hobby. Keep the fun going.

I for one will take any leads you've got. Thank you and please just ignore the people who were negative.

I expect that at least ten treasures will be found by people following those leads. Some may get lucky just going to the area and snooping around BUT most will have to do some research. Maybe I'll hear about their finds and maybe I won't. Doesn't much matter. They should just buy a new truck and p*** off the Democrats. I did that a few days ago. Can't beat nothing down and zero percent with a rebate plus knocking $4900 off the list price. Always best to buy the last week of a sales quarter for the best deals. Also helps when you buy last years model after the new models come out. I try to buy american because no european or asian nation ever did a damn thing for me or our country. The Montagnards did but they are an ethnic minority not a nation. France sent Lafayette because he was too popular to kill and they hoped he would die here. The statue of liberty was offered for sale all over the world with no takers then the artist "gave" it to us and charged us four times the original delivered asking price for "shipping" He laughed at us and we grew to love the lady. The one and only case I know where anyone gave us foriegn aid for free was in 1906 when the school children in Brussels, Belgium raised $5000 to help the victims of the San Francisco earthquake. We saved them twice and the difference between them and the French is that they maintain the american graves for free and the frogs charge us millions per year. exanimo, ss

i liked the all the leads, i now live in ohio, but spent ten years in maine and grew up in new hampshire, and just about all my relatives live in vermont.. reading the leads made me think about some of the places i've been and if i've passed over some of these spots....i guess now i'll have to go back, i i suppose i could vist the family too.....

Again thanks for the time you've put in SS. Any one who knows our hobby surely knows the time spent in research. Although the internet can help, not everything we need to know is there. That's where we come together and share. ( Another thing our Government does'nt like)
Knowledge is power, the sharing of knowledge is freedom and the absence of knowledge is oppression. Keep sharing, I'll be listening. HH! Chris

Thanks SS! I think you had a good idea about sharing leads that we will never pursue; I have several that I have found by going over old newspaper files looking for local leads. I will post them in the appropriate sites; should I list them as replies to your state-by-state posts or here or start a new thread? I think you were right on track in trying to get all forum members to list their leads but it will take a little more time for many to get on board with this idea and trust that they will get as well as give! I am in SC and I have found leads for NY/NJ, TN and GA? ? ? Rusty

hello rusty, If you and others could post replys under the state it would be easier for the new folks to get a quick start. There are so many posts to wade through that most folks just read the titles anyway. That way someone who only cares about one state could zoom right in on it. exanimo, ss

Good idea SS. I have read all of the leads that you posted, but truthfully I will only search for the ones closest to me.

Hey rusty.

Re: thanks for the leads

I just wanted to say thank you to Siegfried for taking the time to post treasure leads. I enjoy reading them all, even if they are in states far from Arizona. Hardpan

I have no idea of what you guys speak of, but this is what I think...Dreams come true and if it is not the one you dreamed of, It may be somthing someone else was dreaming of and they did not get the find...You didAnd God has a way of throwing surprises when you thinlk your on the wrong track.
So I go for what it's worth and then still am in the heat of the hunt anyway! Thats what keeps me digging!Nothing now does not mean you won't find something later!

Hey SS Or anyone of you guys that have archives can you please see what you can find on 2 islands in the caribean called Mona Island and Puerto Rico,I read some stories on Mona Island before but lost them and as for Puerto Rico I was hopeing someone might have something I could jump on. :)

I quit keeping foriegn and offshore leads yaers ago. I have no Puerto Rico leads sorry. exanimo, ss

ss keep up the good work. you always have people that are going to cry and @#$%& and moan about anything anyone else does. they most likely are illiterate and never learned to read or research themselves. personally , i like your leads. keep on posting. they will find something else to whine about before too long i'm sure.

If you have any in Arizona, I'd be happy to see what I could do ;D
