I spent about 4 hours with Jeff of PA today at a local ballfield, weather started out perfect with a little breeze and temps in the high 60's. Recent rain on this field changed the signals dramatically for me and the F75 LTD today, I was getting tired of hearing them all but left the discrimination down low so I could hear the high tones among the trash.
The coin side of the pouch was heavy today......almost as heavy as the trash side....!! The clad count was 6 quarters, 6 dimes, 2 nickels and 26 memorials. I also had two wheaties, both 1944.....how ironic is that? There was also two small pieces of jewelery in the mix.

BUT.....the "day maker" was this well worn little silver that came up from a solid 10"!!! 1906 "O" Barber dime.

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!

Out of my 4 wheats only one had a clear date,
and no lost add found yet on the other items,
so I won't be posting yesterdays finds.

They pale by comparason anyway :coffee2:

the 1944 wheat was the highest mintage year made! seems like I find them 44's everywhere...lol

Ed, I keep telling Jeff we have to come out your way and hit some of your old "hunted out" spots again to see what shows up, like that hill behind the high school we talked about!
LOL @ Jeff typing "Defunct" ..............!!
