At least the Lowbatts cruiser is. The wife and kid were out shopping last night when I heard the boom while getting in the shower. Was pretty sure someone was kicking in the door, so I kinda grabbed a towel in one hand and ran out into the hallway and scooped up the cat with the other. (Cats are great defensive tools if held firmly by the rear legs and swung in a figure-8 pattern while approaching an offender)

Turned out it was the door spring on the garage door going nuclear. Well at least we had one of the cars out. Waiting on the repair crew to get here now. Well at least it wasn't another darn dollbeast like last time.

LOL!!

Those torsion springs sound like a bomb when they snap! :o

That was fast thinking using the cat as a shield!! ;D

Yep, they are loud. . . happened last year to our door. . . our attack dog was found hiding under the desk.

One put a hole in the wall one time.
One time the door slammed down so hard that 3 rails and 3 hinges broke off.

WoW! A Chuckapillar. Very rare to catch one on film. HH
