Trails that Go Nowhere

This is the known Peters Trail which connects Tortilla Ranch with Charlebois Spring. Look in a topo map to see it better. -- markmar

Using GE, I'm able to see the trail until it reaches the rock outcropping where it disappears, then reappears faintly farther up the slope. I can't see the trail as it nears the top of the ridge, then goes over the ridge. It must be very lightly used.

In the past this trail was heavily used by ranchers, hunters and treasure hunters, but in the last years very it's not a favorite route for hikers. The ranchers stopped their activities and the most treasure hunters have different areas in their searching plans. Occasional hikers are chosing the trails closer to the trailheads for a few hours tour.
