found this last week at an old house site that mostly produces 1850's stuff, but has also spit up the occasional KG copper and tombac button.
the item in question is lead, 1 1/8"-1 1/4" in diameter, 5/16" thick, and is printed on one side only. Can't read the writing well enough to make any conclusive key word searches. This piece is much larger than the usual lead seals I find, and also doesn't have any rust stains or wire visible that i tend to associate with lead seals. The edges are semi-uniformly rounded, thus quite blurry in the scan.
This one should be pretty easy for you guys.
Thanks,
Dwayne
