Hey all, would love some help identifying this toy solder I found at a friend's house in his root cellar (story here: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/todays-finds/304402-searching-root-cellar.html)

There are no markings, at least, none that I can find. The feet and gun tip are banged up a bit, but otherwise it's in good condition, probably thanks to the super dry dirt it's been in for many many years.

Thanks!

Hey Grant, You have a Barclay #991 "Soldier Flame Thrower" of the "Pod foot" series, circa mid 1950's to 1971. Yours would have had a tip on that flame thrower about 1/2" long and the feet would have little circular bases to hold him up. A great piece of Americana, congrats. Sub

This is why I love this forum. Thanks for the ID! You are right about the feet too. Awesome!
